Your privacy

Every photo you take or upload — fabric, patterns, finished quilts — is stored privately under your own account. There is no public web address for your photos, so they cannot be found by search engines, guessed, or opened by anyone with a link.

Other members cannot see your photos. When the app shows you a photo, it creates a short-lived private link for you alone, which expires within the hour.

We never publish your photos, show them to other members, sell them, use them in marketing or advertising, or use them to train AI models.

• Your email address, used to sign you in.
• The quilting information you enter: fabrics, patterns, plans, designs, dates and notes.
• Photos you choose to add.

We do not collect payment card details — if and when subscriptions are billed, the payment provider handles the card and we never see it.

If you use the Premium "Scan from a photo" feature, that single photo is sent to our AI service so the printed fabric requirements can be read back as text. It is used only to answer that request — it is not published, not added to anyone else's account, and not used to train models.

Your email lives only in the sign-in system, not alongside your quilting data. It is used for account mail, password resets, support replies, and the inactivity reminders described below. We never sell or share it, and it is not recorded in our internal activity logs.

You can. In addition, the owner of Bliss by the Yard has admin tools used only to support members — for example answering a support request, fixing an email address, or removing an account on request. Every admin action is checked and recorded in an activity log.

You can delete any fabric, pattern, plan or photo at any time. You can also ask us to delete your whole account through Support, and everything — including your stored photos — is permanently removed.

If an account is not signed into for a year, it is deleted along with its data and photos. We email you 30 days, 15 days and 3 days beforehand, and simply signing in resets the clock and keeps everything.

All traffic between your phone or computer and the app is encrypted. Data is stored with access rules enforced by the database and file storage themselves, scoped to your account, so another member cannot reach your records even by accident.

Use the Support page inside the app and we will answer there. Signed-in members can reach it from the menu.
